Erika and Joe were married on November 13th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manassas, VA followed by a reception at the relatively new Harbour View Events in Woodbridge, VA. Their wedding was gorgeous, and I can’t wait to show you all their beautiful portraits! In many ways, Erika and Joe’s wedding was the perfect end to my year. I had Geoff with me, the wedding took place in my old stomping grounds, we ran a photobooth, and the event coordinator Andrea is a long-time friend of mine ( we go all the way back to grade school). She and her mom started Harbour View Events last year and have really done a superb job of creating a unique wedding and event space on the river. Congratulations Erika and Joe! Geoff and I had a blast at your wedding!
With the end of weddings for 2010 comes a quick reflection. Somewhere along the line in 2010 I crossed the Century mark and shot my 100th wedding! Considering the first wedding I shot was in December of 2005, I feel rather accomplished and thankful. I’d like to send out a heartfelt thanks to each and every one of the couples that has allowed me to become part of their lives. I’m happy to report that I’m still in contact with many of my wedding clients, and a few of them have begun to get back in touch for maternity photos, and family photos! I couldn’t be more excited to document these new chapters in their lives! Secondly, I’d like to send out many thanks to my friends and family, who have supported me in my endeavors. I’ve been blessed with the privilege of shooting the weddings of my sister, my mother and Tom, my cousin, and a number of my good friends. Thank you all!
There are a lot of great things in the works for Aaron Spicer Photography in 2011. I can’t wait to share them all with you!
